Cross Country Trip Day 1

Hello everyone!  I hope you are all having a good day.  It is currently 12 am at home... 11 in the time zone we are in now. 

We have made it to Mississippi.  A state that I have never been in before.  So that is pretty cool. 
We left home about noon and went through South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and now Mississippi. We have been taking pictures along the route, but I am not sure if they have all saved to my computer yet.

I will say that 1) it is hard to type in a moving car, so forgive me, and 2) South Carolina people CANT DRIVE!  I really thought that NC was bad... WRONG!!!! It was pretty scary there a few times because they don't use their signal, they tailgate worse than I have ever seen, and it was just a mess.  We did see a guy in front of us blow a tire, but he was safe on the side of the road.  We saw a totally crushed upside down tractor trailer.  I have NO idea how that happened and I really hope that the people made it out alive.

Anyway, we are still trucking for a bit, headed to Tupelo, Mississippi. Almost there.  Tomorrow we will be in Los Lunas, New Mexico for a couple of days before we head on out to the Grand Canyon.  I hope to be able to take and show more pictures, but for now, I am off!!
